Linda's FAvorite Recipes

Trapped in an Outhouse with Alligators!

Come along for a lighthearted look at The Lake Apopka Wildlife Drive. Jerry and Linda drive about 45 minute from The Villages to the Lake Apopka North Shore entrance where they embark upon a slow rolling drive around the lake. The Newcomers see alligators, ospreys, hawks, herons and more. Admission is free and the drive is open every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. It is open on national holidays too. Admission is free.
Florida’s fourth largest lake, Lake Apopka was once considered the most polluted lake in the entire state. Through great effort it has rebounded to be a thriving refuge for all types of wildlife.
